On the 17th of July 2008, I've finally passed my riding licence. With 14 demerit points. Phew! Wad a relieve. After such a long time waiting for the moment to arrive. Finally! Yayy! I'm so delighted. I don't reali know wad to say.
Unfortunately, something happened on my 2nd day of passing my TP. I got a road accident. I hit the curb when turning for a sharp deviation. At 5th gear. 90-100 kmh. Couldn't stop in time. There I go! Got slide off from my bike. Pity my bike. It got scratches and the windscreen was cracked. I was hurt too.
Moral of the story: Don't be too eager to ride a motorbike immediately after you passed your TP. It's convenient and all. But most important, don't ever ride at 90-100 kmh at expressway. No matter how slow you are. Or how many drivers overtake you. It's not worth the risk. Believe me. Unless you want to learn the hard way.
To be honest with you, no matter how rude drivers can be on road, they dont dare to scold you if you're slow. Especially with those p-plates you have! Ride slow and steady. With better judgement and experience, go ahead and speed up if you want to!
Oh yeah! Don't try to act cool by letting go of one handle. You may lost balance. Unless you are at a slow speed. Always, always be careful! It's not worth the money and the pain.
