Haiz...
I love the Beijing Olympics 2008.
I think it's the only olympic that I ever watched with full enthusiasm.
The opening ceremony was awesome.
The games are fantastic.
So many talented sportsmen and sportwomen out there!

Unfortunately,
Singapore does not have her own sports talent.
Even if there is, its incomparable to other countries.
Anyway, im happy that we won a silver medal for the table tennis women's team!
At least something.
Despite that ALL 3 of the athletes are not true singaporeans.

Li JiaWei and Feng TianWei seemed to be the stronger one.
But I realized that Li JiaWei seemed to be a notch down lower.
Her performance this year was so-so.
As a matter of fact, Feng seemed stronger and better den Li.
Well, this is juz my personal opinion.
Not too sure whether it's my intuition or otherwise.

The final match between China and Singapore was interesting.
To think dat those 3 'Singaporeans' are born in China.
Do they feel any guilty of betraying their country?
But since they lost to their homeland,
there aren't much to criticize.
For once, I thot, they are.
When they played the final match, they seemed to be very demoralised.
Especially TianWei when she kept giving points to Wang Nan.
She kept shaking her head as if telling herself that it's over.
Straight away I noe, half the battle lost.
No faith to keep up with the score.
Or even win.

Overall, it was a real pump for me!
I was hopping for them to get a Gold medal.

Niwae at the victory ceremony when they given the medals,
I was reminiscing over my Silat days.
I won silver for my Jurus Wajib.
An art of Silat where 3 girls have to synchronise with one another.
I was overwhelmed with the fact that we almost won 1st.
It was a great memory to be standing on the podium.
People shaking hands, congratulating one another.
Taking pics.
We deserved it after a long hard, tough training.

I miss those days...
